Hi, I'm Mackenzie Siddall!
I have a passion for working with people to inspire and motivate them to reach their potential and get the most out of what life has to offer. This is why I founded AOG, which stands for 'Attitude of Gratitude' - my central philosophy in life. It was inspired by the culmination of all of the life lessons and experiences I have encountered along my journey. It is a key component to who I am as an individual and now, I want to share my insights with all of you!
I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario.
I started my journey at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where I studied Kinesiology and played varsity softball. As a walk-on athlete, I was determined to showcase my athletic abilities. I was named captain after my freshman year and remained in that role for the next three years. I understand the nuances of the game and can appreciate the skill of the elite players. Although I was born with a congenital amputation of my right hand, I have never seen that as a barrier for me reaching my goals. Softball has taught me to be self-motivated, to experience but not accept failure, to be persistent and determined.
After completing my undergraduate degree at UBC, I moved home to Windsor, ON to further my education. I completed my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the Odette School of Business in Windsor, ON in December of 2019. During the program, I developed a desire to create my own platform, where I could pursue my passion of impacting others in a meaningful way. I ended up building my own brand, known as AOG Windsor. This provided me with the opportunity to share my personal philosophy and insights with others in various ways (group fitness classes, keynote speeches, and apparel).
I want to continue to share some basic truths that I have come to learn as essential to life, among them being gratitude. My mission is to continue spreading my light so that others can do the same. I want people to get the most out of each and every day.
